Welcome to the Hurricane Go Kart Club.
Friendly – We like to think of ourselves as “the friendly club”. We’re not as far from Perth as you might think.
Come and join us.
Competitive – HGKC run a Club Championship in a variety of classes for members. (We may be friendly, but we’re competitive, too!) The title of Club Champion will be awarded to one driver in each of the nominated classes for a calendar year.
Safety – Safety measures including extensive sand traps, safety fencing and tyre barriers help practice and racing to be as safe as possible. High quality lighting allows the club to organise night racing, a popular feature amongst the drivers.
Values – You can get an idea of our values by checking out our Drivers Code of Conduct and Parents Code of Conduct.
Family – The club encourages a family atmosphere, with emphasis on a safe, fun racing environment. Facilities include a licensed canteen and BBQ area. Toilets and showers are also available.
Social – All competitors and spectators are encouraged to socialise in the clubrooms after racing is finished. But please don’t drink then get behind the wheel.
Involved – All our committee members are actively involved in karting, either as drivers, officials, or through their family. Sometimes, all of the above!
