History of our club

The Hurricane Go Kart Club (HGKC) was established in 1961 and is situated approximately 70 km east of Perth CBD, just outside the township of Wundowie, Western Australia.

The circuit was upgraded in 1993, and extensions carried out in 2002 saw the track length increase to 753 metres. At 8 metres wide, it is licensed for 32 karts to be on the track at any one time. It offers a variety of straights, curves and hairpins to challenge all classes of competitors.

HGKC has hosted the WA State Titles numerous times – most recently in 2015 – as well as other State Series and State Cup events, year after year.

HGKC is extremely proud of the reputation the club has achieved since its establishment as “the friendly club”.
