We Need You

As you all know, we need volunteers to run a meeting. Without them, they can’t be held. Therefore all Juniors & Seniors are asked to volunteer at one clubrun meeting per year.

For those who are interested in winning the club championship, volunteering for a clubrun duty gets you 2000 points towards the championship – more than you could get if you had a clean sweep of all four heats!

Additionally, being on the outgrid is a good way to get to know other club members. Operating the lights gives a good insight into the organisation that goes into running a meeting and the view is the best!

So, positions needed to be filled each month are steward, outgrid, weigh marshall, lights, lap counter, starter and clerk of course.

As all these positions listed are Official positions, under 16’s must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

And it doesn’t have to be for the next meeting. You may decide you want to volunteer for a meeting 3 or 4 months down the track. (Gives you a better chance of getting the position you want)

Additionally, we have the same system in place for King Of The Hill.
